Abstrak: Profenofos adalah salah satu jenis insektisida organofosfat yang banyak digunakan petani sayuran bawang merah di Kabupaten Bantul, DIY. Penggunaan insektisida secara intensif pada budidaya tanaman sayuran dapat berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan biotik dan fisik, dan membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan di sentra produksi bawang merah di Kabupaten Bantul, yaitu di Desa Srigading, Kecamatan Sandendengan metode survei yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji residu insektisida profenofos dalam tanah, air, dan produk tanaman bawang merah. Contoh tanah, air dan produk tanaman berupa umbi bawang merah diambil di beberapa lokasi bawang merah intensif dan non bawang merah. Residu profenofos dalam tanah, air, dan produk umbi dianalisis menggunakan kromatografi gas dengan detektor ECD. Residu profenofos dari lokasi Ngemplak > di Sangkeh > di Srabahan > di Cetan > Sogesanden. Residu profenofos dalam tanah di lokasi Ngemplak (0,0709 ppm) dan Sangkeh (0,0517 ppm). Residu profenofos dalam air sawah relatif lebih rendah dibandingkan residu profenofos dalam tanah. Residu profenofos dalam bawang merah cenderung relatif lebih tinggi daripada residu profenofos dalam produk non bawang (padi). Kisaran kadar residu insektisida profenofos pada produk bawang merah umumnya mendekati hingga melebihi BMR (0,05 ppm).

Abstract: Profenofos is one of organophosphate insecticides that is used most of shallot’s farmers in Bantul District, Jogjakarta. The intensive insecticide use on vegetable crops could impact negatively to environment of biotic and physic and human healthy. The survey study was conducted at Srigading village of Bantul to study insecticide residue of profenofos in soil, water, and shallot product. The samples of soil, water, and shallot product were taken from neither some sites of intensive shallot culture nor non-shallot culture. Profenofos residue in soil, water, shallot product were analyzed using gas chromatography equipped with electron capture detector. The sequence of profenofos residue concentration from some sites was Ngempak > Sangkeh > Srabahan > Cetan > Sogesanden. Profenofos residue in soil at Ngemplak (0.0709 ppm) and Sangkeh (0.0517 ppm).Profenofos in water was relatively lower than its residue in soil. Profenofos reside in shallot product was relatively higher than its residue in rice grains. Profenofos residue range in shallot product was generally around RML concentration.
